The App Bundle
Think of an App Bundle as a shipping label plus instructions for your app. The actual app files can live in companion artifacts, and the bundle tells App Hub what your app is, who made it, which hardware it supports, and what to show users.
In App Hub, this is the contract used to validate submissions, power app cards, and render the app details page. If the bundle is clear and complete, users can discover and deploy your app faster.
In the broader Torizon ecosystem, the same bundle acts as a portable manifest that links application runtime data (like Compose), optional OS customization (TorizonCore Builder), and metadata needed for lifecycle management and publishing.
- Who: publisher identity and support info
- What: app name, version, summary, docs links
- Where: compatible hardware + OS range
- How: file references for compose/tcbuild/description
